Description
Children 6 to 12 years of age:
Weighing more than 30 kg: One teaspoon (5 mL) twice daily, every 12 hours.
Children 4 to 6 years of age:
Weighing 30 kg or less: One-half (½) teaspoon (2.5 mL) twice daily, every 12 hours.
Dosage should be individually determined and adjusted according to the specific disease being treated, its severity, and the clinical response obtained.
As improvement is noted, the dosage should be gradually reduced to a minimum maintenance level and discontinued when possible. When respiratory allergy symptoms have been adequately controlled, consideration should be given to gradually withdrawing the combination product and instituting antihistamine-only therapy.
