Indications:

• Seasonal allergic rhinitis (e.g., sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes).
• Perennial allergic rhinitis (allergies caused by year-round allergens like dust mites or pet dander).
• Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), including itching and skin rashes.

How It Works:

Loratadine works by blocking histamine receptors in the body, preventing the effects of histamine, which is released during allergic reactions. This helps reduce symptoms such as sneezing, itching, nasal congestion, and hives without causing significant drowsiness.

Dosage and Administration:

• Recommended Dose:
  • Adults and children 12 years and older: 10 mL once daily.
  • Children aged 2 to 5 years: 2.5 mL once daily.
  • Children aged 6 to 11 years: 5 mL once daily.

• Can be taken with or without food.
