Description
Mometasone is a synthetic corticosteroid that is indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis and perennial allergic rhinitis, in adult patients, adolescents and children from 2 years of age. In patients with a history of moderate to severe seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms, prophylactic treatment with Mometasone is recommended for two to four weeks before the expected start of the pollen season. Mometasone Nasal Suspension is also indicated for the treatment of nasal polyps and associated symptoms including nasal congestion and hyposmia in adult patients over 18 years of age.
