Description

Extraintestinal taeniasis (Neurocysticercosis).

Polyvalent and antigiardial anthelmintic effective in the treatment of: Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, Enterobius vermicularis, Ancylostoma duodenale and Strongyloides stercoralis, American Necator, Hymenolepis nana, Taenia Sp and Giardia lambia (in children older than 2 years). Cutaneous larva migrans, gnothostamiasis, toxocariasis, opisthorchiasis-clonorchiasis.

• Active Ingredient: Albendazole 400 mg.
• Category: Antiparasitic medication.
• Indications:
  • Treatment of parasitic worm infections, including:
    • Roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides).
    • Hookworms (Ancylostoma duodenale, Necator americanus).
    • Whipworms (Trichuris trichiura).
    • Pinworms (Enterobius vermicularis).
  • Other conditions as prescribed, such as hydatid disease or neurocysticercosis.
• Dosage:
  • Standard single dose: 400 mg (varies based on condition and patient age/weight).
