Description

it is effective in infections caused by protozoa, such as acute intestinal amebiasis or amoebic dysentery and amoebic liver abscess caused by Entamoeba histolytica. It is also indicated in the treatment of giardiasis caused by Giardia lamblia. It works effectively in infections caused by Cryptosporidium parvum, Fasciola hepatica and Isospora beli.

it is an anthelmintic effective against nematodes, cestodes and trematodes. It is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by Enterobius vermicularis, Ascaris lumbricoides, Necator americanus, Ancylostoma duodenale and Strongyloides stercolaris. Trichuris trichiura, Taenia saginata, Taenia solium, and Hymenolepis nana.

It is indicated for the treatment of trichomoniasis, both symptomatic and asymptomatic, in men and women with endocervicitis, cervicitis and cervical erosions caused by Trichomonas vaginalis. It can also be administered as a prophylactic treatment for it.
