Description
ECTAPRIM ® has a very broad spectrum of action: gram-positive and gram-negative germs, such as streptococci (including beta-hemolytics), staphylococci, pneumococci, meningococci, gonococci, Salmonellas, Klebsiellas, Aerobacter spp, Shigella and cholera vibrio, among others.
ECTAPRIM ® also acts on certain difficult germs such as: Haemophilus influenzae, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis and Proteus vulgaris.
In skin and soft tissue infections: Pyodermatitis, furunculosis, dermatitis, abscesses and infected wounds; burns, neonatal sepsis, septicemia; peritonitis; septic abortion.
In eye infections: Conjunctivitis, blepharitis.
In infections of the digestive system: Gastroenteritis, shigellosis, typhoid fever and other salmonellosis.
In upper respiratory tract infections: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngotracheitis and laryngitis.
In lower respiratory tract infections: Bronchitis and pneumonia.
In ear, nose and throat infections: Otitis media, labyrinthitis and sinusitis.
In genitourinary infections: Acute or chronic cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis; kidney infections and gonococcal urethritis.
