Description

It is indicated in the systemic treatment of ectoparasitosis such as pediculosis (lice), cutaneous myiasis, tungiasis, demodecidosis and scabies (scabies). In intestinal and tissue parasites such as ascariasis, enterobiasis (oxyuriasis), trichuriasis, strongyloidasis and microfilariasis, (caused by W. Bancrofti, Brugia malayi, Mansonella perstans or ozzardi and Streptocerca), onchocerciasis, gnatostomiasis, larva migrans and ancilostomiasis.

Indications

1. Treatment of Strongyloidiasis (Intestinal Threadworm Infection):
   • Effective in treating Strongyloides stercoralis infections in the intestine.
2. Treatment of Onchocerciasis (River Blindness):
   • Used to eliminate adult and larval stages of Onchocerca volvulus (the parasite responsible for river blindness).
