KRIADEX ORAL SOLUTION CLONAZEPAM

Description

KRIADEX Solution contains clonazepam, a derivative of benzodiazepines with particular anxiolytic and anticonvulsant properties. As an anxiolytic it is indicated for the control of anxiety disorders such as: panic attacks with or without agoraphobia, social phobia, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

KRIADEX Solution is also used in the treatment of: Sleep disorders, akathisia, states of agitation subsequent to withdrawal syndrome or acute withdrawal to alcohol, delirium tremens, as well as in adjunct therapy with lithium or with mood stabilizers for treatment of manic episodes, agitated and / or potentially aggressive psychotic states.

KRIADEX Solution as an anticonvulsant is the agent of choice indicated for the treatment of the manifestations of childhood epilepsy such as: typical absences (petit mal), atypical absences, chronic epileptic encephalopathies of children, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, myoclonic seizures, atonic seizures, infantile spasms or West syndrome.

KRIADEX Solution is also indicated (in adults) as add-on therapy in the treatment of tonic-clonic seizures, simple and complex partial seizures, generalized tonic-clonic seizures, status epilepticus and seizures induced by other drugs.

KRIADEX Solution can be used in the treatment of muscle spasms due to local pathologies such as inflammation or trauma to muscles or joints; athetosis, tetanus; spasticity due to upper motor neuron diseases such as cerebral palsy.
