Description

Healing of lesions and relief of gastrointestinal symptoms that require reduction of gastric acid secretion.

Pantoprazole is indicated for the control and healing of duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, hiatal hernia, reflux esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, refractory peptic ulcer and Helicobacter pylori associated peptic ulcer (in conjunction with appropriate antibiotics).

Pantoprazole is also indicated for the control of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, diseases refractory to H-2 antagonists, in gastritis, duodenitis, erosive gastritis and in gastritis due to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
