Description
The dyspeptic symptom complex that is frequently associated with delayed gastric emptying, gastroesophageal reflux, and esophagitis:
– Feeling of fullness at the epigastric level, early satiety, feeling of abdominal distention, pain in the upper abdomen.
– Belching, flatulence.
– Nausea and vomiting.
– Heartburn with or without regurgitation of gastric contents in the mouth.
– Nausea and vomiting of functional, organic, infectious or dietary origin or induced by radiotherapy or pharmacotherapy.
A specific indication is nausea and vomiting induced by dopamine agonists, such as those used in Parkinson’s disease (such as L-dopa and bromocriptine).
