Description

ACORTIZ is a diuretic of the thiazide family that is indicated in:

Arterial hypertension: As monotherapy or in combination to increase the effect of other antihypertensive drugs when it comes to more severe forms of hypertension.

Edema: Associated with congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis and in therapy with corticosteroids and estrogens.

ACORTIZ is also useful in edema related to renal dysfunction, such as nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis and chronic renal failure.
