Description

ASMA (reversible obstructive airway disease):

SERETIDE® DISKUS® is indicated for the periodic treatment of asthma (reversible obstructive airway disease).

This can include:

• Patients under effective maintenance doses of long-acting β2 agonists and inhaled corticosteroids administered in inhalers.

• Patients who remain symptomatic despite receiving inhaled corticosteroids.

• Patients regularly treated with bronchodilators and requiring the addition of inhaled corticosteroids.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD):

SERETIDE® DISKUS® is indicated for the regular treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) including chronic bronchitis and emphysema, and has been shown to reduce the mortality rate from all causes.
