Description
It is indicated for the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible microorganisms:
• Infections in the respiratory tract.
• Exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, Community acquired pneumonia, including community acquired pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae resistant to various drugs (MR, multidrug resistant).
• Acute bacterial rhinosinusitis.
• Uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections.
• Complicated skin and soft tissue infections (including treatment of infections such as diabetic foot).
• Complicated intra-abdominal infections (including polymicrobial infections such as abscesses).
• Uncomplicated pelvic inflammatory disease (for example, upper female genital tract infections, including salpingitis and endometritis).
Streptococcus pneumoniae (multidrug-resistant MR), includes isolates known as PRSP (Penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae) and some strains resistant to two or more of the following antibiotics: penicillin, second-generation cephalosporins (eg, cefuroxime) , macrolides, tetracyclines as well as trimethoprim / sulfamethoxazole.
