Description

Quinfamide is indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of intestinal amebiasis in its two forms: acute amebiasis and asymptomatic carrier state. Quinfamide is not recommended for the treatment of non-specific diarrhea.

AMEFIN (Quinfamide) 100 mg Tablets are an effective treatment for intestinal amoebiasis caused by Entamoeba histolytica. Each tablet contains 100 mg of Quinfamide, an antiprotozoal agent that works by inhibiting the parasite’s ability to reproduce and survive, leading to its elimination from the body.

Indications:

• Treatment of intestinal amoebiasis caused by Entamoeba histolytica.
• Effective in managing amoebic dysentery and other amoeba-related gastrointestinal infections.

How It Works:
Quinfamide targets the protozoan Entamoeba histolytica, disrupting its ability to multiply and survive, effectively clearing the infection.
