Description

Chronic Idiopathic Constipation (ECI): AMITIZA is indicated for the treatment of chronic idiopathic constipation in adults.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation (IBS-C): AMITIZA is indicated for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) in women ≥ 18 years of age.

Opioid-Induced Constipation (OIS): AMITIZA is indicated for the treatment of opioid-induced constipation in adults with chronic non-cancerous pain. Its efficacy in patients treated with opioids derived from diphenylheptane (eg, methadone) has not been established.
