Description

Bronchodilator for long-term regular treatment in patients with: asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, exercise-induced asthma, nocturnal asthma and other pathologies with reversible airway obstruction.

Salmeterol is not a substitute for oral or inhaled steroids, but works as a supplement to them. Patients should be advised not to discontinue or reduce therapy without medical advice, even if they experience some improvement with Salmeterol.
