Description

CREON® is indicated for the treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in pediatric and adult patients, frequently associated, but not limited to:

• Cystic fibrosis.

• Chronic pancreatitis.

• Pancreatic surgery.

• Gastrectomy.

• Pancreatic cancer.

• Gastrointestinal bypass surgeries (for example, Billroth II gastroenterostomy).

• Obstruction of the pancreatic duct or common bile duct (for example, due to neoplasia).

• Shwachman-Diamond syndrome.

• After an attack of acute pancreatitis and initiation of oral or enteral feeding.
