Description
Dicloxacillin has bactericidal action against gram positive germs, including beta-lactamase producing staphylococci, this being its main clinical use; indicated for infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract such as: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, otitis, sinusitis, subacute bronchitis, pneumonia and bronchopneumonia, as well as infections of the skin, soft tissues such as breast and skin abscesses, furunculosis, cellulitis, wounds and infected burns , also has therapeutic application in other infections in which pyogenic cocci are suspected, including osteomyelitis, septicemia and septic arthritis.
