Description

It is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults, particularly in overweight patients, whose management with diet and exercise does not produce adequate glycemic control.

DIMEFOR® XR can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents or with insulin.

Reduction in diabetes-related complications has been observed in overweight patients treated with metformin as first-line therapy.
