Description
Diuretic: Isolated essential, nephrogenic or systolic arterial hypertension, as primary therapy, in combination with other antihypertensive agents.
Fluid retention in PMS only, if weight gain is the main symptom and is well documented.
Edema of specific origin.
Edema due to chronic peripheral venous insufficiency; short-term treatment if physical measures are not sufficient.
Stable mild to moderate chronic heart failure (functional class II or III).
Prophylaxis against recurrent calcium oxalate stones in patients with normocalcemia, idiopathic hypercalciuric.
Ascites due to liver cirrhosis in stable patients under strict control. Edema to nephrotic syndrome.
