Description
JANUMET is indicated as initial treatment in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control when diet and exercise do not provide adequate glycemic control.
JANUMET is indicated as a supplement to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are not sufficiently controlled with metformin or sitagliptin alone or who are already being treated with sitagliptin and metformin.
JANUMET is indicated as part of triple combination therapy with a sulphonylurea as a supplement to diet and exercise, in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are inadequately controlled with any of two of the three drugs: metformin, sitagliptin or a sulphonylurea.
