Treatment of anxiety disorders or short-term relief of anxiety symptoms or anxiety associated with depressive symptoms. LOZAM® is only indicated when the disorder has not responded to non-pharmacological treatment and is severe, disabling, or puts the individual under unacceptable stress. (The anxiety or tension associated with the stresses of everyday life generally do not require treatment with an anxiolytic.) LOZAM® is indicated as adjunctive treatment in psychotic states and severe depression with anxiety components as well, it is indicated as surgical premedication. As an adjunct to conventional antiemetic drugs, for the prophylactic and symptomatic treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with anticancer chemotherapy.
